Total Defence Day Follow-Up (Learning Journey to Fu Chun Primary)

5A went on a learning journey to Fu Chun Primary School to view exhibits of WWII. Some commented that they were fortunate to be living in the 21st Century and not back then where food was scarce and expensive. Klfton commented
" Japanese tortured British soldiers in many cruel and umimaginable ways." He also learnt to appreciate food for tapioca was grown and used as a substitute for rice and flour.
The class had their recess when they reached school at 10.50am. By then, they were famished and could wolf down anything they could grab..
5A would like to thank Salifian's mum who joined us in this trip as a parent volunteer.

Teacher invited the pupils to be little teachers to check on their friends' work. Through peer editing, the class will be able to learn from their classmates. Check out their looks (serious/ relaxed) in the pictures) !

Temperature Taking Exercise 1

All went well during the temperature taking exercise. See how serious 5A were? They were very co-operative. Only Jia Yu's temperature was above 37.6 so she had to proceed to the general office. She joined the class shortly after that :)
