Diligence & Perseverance

On 4 Feb, Mrs Agnes Choh gave an assembly talk on our school core values -- Diligence & Perseverance. It was a provoking talk that set the pupils to think. Pupils were asked to put their thoughts into words.

How I can show diligence and perseverance

Ming Jun
1. Study hard; check my homework
2. Ask our parents, teachers or friends when faced with a difficult question we cannot solve.

Boon Keng
1. Listen attentively when my teachers are teaching
2. Must not give up even when we fail

Royston
1. Put in effort and hard work into whatever we do. Pay more attention
2. Continue to work hard and don't give up when we are given a task.

1. Revise my work everyday
2. Pay attention to my teacher
3. I believe that by being diligent, we can be successful.

Why is it important for Singaporeans to be diligent and persevering?

1. Singapore is a tiny red dot on the world map but it is a popular and modern place. We are holding events like the Youth Olympic Games. Everyone is diligent and persevering so we are able to do that.
